We finally did it!! After talking about it for a year we went out and got a jeep for Wendy. This is her daily driver (gets her to and from work) and doubles as our off road toy on the weekends.

The Jeep

The jeep is a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport version. It has full metal doors ( I think the windows are better for daily driving with these) and is bright (ok… BRIGHT) yellow . It has a 4 speed automatic transmission powered by a 4.0L 6 cyclinder motor.

Impression

I was impressed with how well this vehicle handled straight off the lot. While not a speedster on the road (aero dynamics are just not there) it will go just about anywhere you ask it off road.

Modifications

We’ll be putting modifications here as we do them. Probably the first thing will be a storage rack for the tailgate and GPS unit for inside. Also looking at getting a better radio (probably Sirius capable).
