For Christmas this year, Santa brought us some new tires :)

In getting ready for the Glamis trip I asked around online on what tire people recommended that was a good all around desert tire but still functioned well on road as this is Wendy’s daily driver. A couple of people recommended the BF Goodrich All Terrains as they do well in the sand and hold up well to road travel. Unlike the Mudd Terrains the tread won’t bite into the sand (you want a tire that will float over the dune) and is also quieter on rood. These are 31″ x 10.5″ x 15″ (there is a little rub when turning all the way due to the wideness of the tire) without a lift. When we get our 4″ lift kit installed then we’ll go to the 33″ x 12.5″ x 15″ (with spacers to eliminate the tire rub). From an aesthic point of view these tires look much more aggressive than the stock tires.
