Don’t you think it’s time for a little fun and recreation? This past year has been full of surprises and not many of them were very positive. The thought of taking a break and getting together to spend a weekend offroading in one of Southern California’s most amazing areas sounds like a great opportunity to relieve a little tension and have a little fun. You deserve it and have certainly earned it, so come on out and enjoy the famous Truckhaven hills while we still can.

Mark your calendars as the members and families of Tierra Del Sol invite you to the 47th annual Desert Safari, held on March 6th, 7th, and 8th. You can get all the detailed information about the event and for the first time, you can pre-order the famous Desert Safari t-shirts (they sell out every year) and register online at www.tdsdesertsafari.com. Registrations postmarked by February 16th, are only $50 and the on site registration cost is $60. Included with each registration are a dash plaque, bumper sticker, and one ticket for the $100,000 in raffle prizes. The club has been working very hard to make this a fun event for the entire family.

Haven’t been posting much as we took a year off of any serious off roading (couple day trips to Ocotillo Wells to chase dune buggies being about the only thing we’ve done offroad since going to Dumont Dunes last year).

Last December Wendy was in a minor car accident with the jeep. The jeep held up really well and provided the protection I was looking for when we got the jeep for Wendy.
